Double Exposed Portraits

Portrait photography is a picture of someones face and sometimes a background and the full body like when you take pictures with your family you would take family portraits for maybe christmas cards or special times when you family comes for dinner or a special occasion. It can relate to a profile view and silhouetting by a profile is like a picture of someones face but only seen on one side but it's still a picture of a face. Silhouetting is related because it is an image of an animal, person, or an object in a scene that represents a solid shape or singular color. All of it relates by a profile being a picture of someones side of their face, silhouetting being a picture of animals ,people , and sometimes objects but each of them mean a picture of a persons face.

Double exposures are created in photoshop by taking a couple pictures of textures and a profile of someones face and you use the dodge tool in photoshop to outline your face in white so you can make it into a multi exposure picture also so you can see texture in the background

HDR Photography

HDR Photography is a layer of multiple pictures and it makes the lights and darks come out and makes the picture more vibrant with bright lights and dark shadows. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. What I like about HDR is that it makes the pictures I take stand out and it makes my pictures I take look more nicer. If I were to take a picture of a really dark picture HDR takes multiple and   makes the dark picture even out to look better than the original. What I dislike about it is that some times the picture doesn't turn out to be what I wanted and I can't control  what color I want to stand out unless I do it in photo shop.

You can create an HDR image by taking multiple pictures of the same thing and opening up Photoshop to layer them and then you can change the functions and settings to make it look unique and realistic. It is different from automatic because the automatic one you can't customize it unlike the step by step one you can create it to your own taste of colors and style.

What I was thinking for my pictures were I was wanting to make the sky look a brilliant blue and make the colors stand out so I wanted to make it unreal.
