Music Video Finale

For the last project of the year the music video my team is Kacie Burns and Alina Puig. The song that we chose was Eye Of The Tiger (survivor). The song " The Eye Of The Tiger " is basically like a fight song and as girls we didn't really want to do like fights and basically the original storyline so, we picked a food fight in which it involves food( which is amazing ). For the beginning of the video we wanted to start it off with us just laying around and watching our favorite show supernatural all day with our friend Adelina walking in and calling us lazy and that we've been here all day ( which is so true ).

My favorite fast edit sequencing has to be when it switches between like in our case three people really fast and the effect makes it look really cool. For instance if you stare at one of the people for a really long time you only see them even though it's constantly switching between three people. Another one of my favorite fast editing sequences is when the screen is split in two and theres two people but in different shots ( so cool ). when we first started editing I was working on the photoshop document for our Music Video Poster and I thought it turned out pretty cool because I actually made it a GIF. I made 2 different posters and my team and I are going to decide which one is best which I think is gonna be hard because I think they are both amazing!

I think this Music Video will showcase our best work because I believe that when you are having fun the product your making becomes even greater and if you watch the video you can tell that we were having so much fun with filming. BTW we had so much BLOOPERS we didn't have enough room to fit them or the whole video would be like 6 extra minutes attached onto the end!

EYE OF THE TIGER
BY: SURVIVOR

Rising up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

So many times it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory

Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger

Face to face, out in the heat
Hanging tough, staying hungry
They stack the odds still we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive

It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger

Rising up, straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory

Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive

It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger

Animated Life Lessons

So this term my teammates were Kacie Burns, Raja Counts and of course me! My personal traits are a perfectionist and trying to make everything well... perfect. Kacie's personal traits are being a nerd and being a marvel and supernatural fangirl. Raja is the cheerleader and is obsessed with everything she does. In the story our personal traits aren't exaggerated all that much because of our complications with puppet warping.

There isn't all that much humor in our animation because of complications but some people might relate to the fact that not everybody is perfect and we all make mistakes. Also, another way people might relate is the fact that some people judge people by how they look or act and sometimes our opinions are wrong and we should accept people for who they really are and not by how they act.

Since we had to get in groups of teams with people we never worked with before I'd say we did a pretty good job considering the fact that we barely know each other. The biggest challenge was to get some people in our group to concentrate instead of walking around and talking to her friends when we have work to be done. The best moment I would say would have to be when we finished the project even though it isn't that good, we were relieved when it was over.
